Kiryu hosts 19th Classic Car Festival in November 2026

The 19th Classic Car Festival in Kiryu is scheduled to take place on November 1, 2026, at the Gunma University Faculty of Science and Technology, Kiryu Campus. The event features approximately 300 classic vehicles produced before 1980, including 180 cars in the exhibition category and 100 in the rally category.

Suzuki Co., Ltd. is providing full cooperation for the festival, with the Suzuki Historical Museum lending two significant models for special exhibition: the Fronte 800 (1965) and the first-generation Alto (1979).

In addition to the vehicle displays, the festival includes kitchen cars, garage sales, a drawing contest for children, and lectures regarding automobiles hosted by Gunma University. The event will conclude with a parade of participating vehicles through Kiryu's main street, Honmachi-dori.
