Kiseljak launches natural gas network in town center
The natural gas network has been officially commissioned in the center of Kiseljak, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Kiseljak Health Center was the first public institution to be connected to the system, marked by a symbolic torch lighting ceremony.
This expansion follows previous work in the Azapovići area of Lepenica. Over the last two years, nearly 18 kilometers of transport, primary, and secondary pipelines have been laid within the municipality. The project is part of a broader plan to expand the gas network across the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, facilitated by BH-Gas as the transport system operator and JP Vodovod i kanalizacija Kiseljak as the distributor.
Local authorities plan to transition all public institutions, including primary and secondary schools and the municipal building, to gas heating. Individual households will be eligible to connect to the network starting in the spring and summer of next year. The project received financial support from the Government of Central Bosnia Canton and the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
