Kishori Pednekar Blames Unemployment for Temple Thefts in Mumbai

Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Kishori Pednekar said that high unemployment is driving people to commit thefts in temples across Mumbai. She cited recent incidents at the Siddhivinayak temple and mentioned similar cases at the Ayodhya Ram temple and Ujjain temple, arguing that providing jobs to educated youth would reduce such crimes.

Pednekar also addressed the Maharashtra Association of Resident Doctors (MARD) protest, stating that while doctors have the right to protest, it should not cause hardship for patients. She criticized the mayor’s costly renovation of a government bungalow, linking it to broader concerns about corruption and misuse of public funds.
