Kiskunhalas man charged for repeat driving while banned

The Kiskunhalas District Prosecutor's Office has filed charges against a repeat offender who drove a vehicle twice while under a court‑ordered driving ban. The man, previously barred for six months after a traffic violation, took the wheel in April and again in early May, ignoring police attempts to stop him. On both occasions he fled, once running away on foot after a short drive, and a second time after colliding with a sign, a tree and a concrete block before abandoning the car.

Prosecutors are seeking a custodial sentence, continued imprisonment, and a renewed driving prohibition. The case will be heard by the Kiskunhalas District Court.
