Kissamos Municipality announces Skalidi Street redevelopment

The Municipality of Kissamos has announced upcoming redevelopment works for Skalidi Street. The process is scheduled to begin with the installation of the project contractor on Monday, October 12, 2026, with major construction activities expected to commence after October 28.

Local authorities have requested the cooperation of residents, business owners, and utility providers, such as OTE and DEDDIE, to ensure necessary infrastructure adjustments are made during the excavation phase. This proactive approach aims to prevent future excavations and damage to the new infrastructure. The municipality noted that once the project is completed, any external interventions affecting the street's aesthetics or functionality will require prior approval from the relevant authorities.
