Enterprise application platform Kissflow has joined FinTech Alliance. Ph, aiming to assist Philippine firms in developing safer artificial intelligence applications and digital workflows. The move follows Kissflow’s participation in the ASEAN Tech Summit in Manila, where discussions focused on helping financial institutions translate regulatory requirements into operational workflows.

Kissflow utilizes a low-code and no-code platform that integrates artificial intelligence with visual development. This allows business process owners to automate workflows using business logic while maintaining IT oversight through human-readable blueprints. The company currently supports several major Philippine brands, including SN Aboitiz, Energy Development Corporation, and the Philippine Digital Asset Exchange.

As the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas pushes for increased digital adoption—with digital payments reaching 64.7% of retail transaction volume in 2025—financial institutions face pressure to innovate. Industry experts suggest that banks must move toward a 'Banking 4.0' model, treating application development as a core business capability rather than a purely technical function to better manage legacy systems and regulatory demands.
