Kisvárda KC wins Chemkostav Cup as HC Děčín claims hockey gold
In youth handball, Kisvárda KC won the inaugural Chemkostav Cup for older girls, finishing the tournament undefeated across three matches. The local team, MŠK Iuventa Michalovce, secured second place after defeating Hajdunánás SK 34:24. Third place went to SPR Handball Rzeszów.
Individual honors included Kisvárda’s Buri Virág as top scorer with 29 goals and teammate Laura Miklovič as best goalkeeper. Eliza Kecskeméti from Hajdunánás SK was named player of the tournament.
In youth ice hockey, HC Děčín’s newly formed junior category (players born in 2011 and 2012) won their home tournament. The team earned 10 points, securing gold with victories over HK Lev Slaný and HC Baník Sokolov, alongside a draw against SK Tygři Černošice. Jaroslav Koval was named the tournament's best player.
