Kit Connor prepares for X-Men role as Cyclops

Kit Connor, known for the series ‘Heartstopper’, has shared a photo showing physical preparation for his role as Scott Summers, also known as Cyclops, in the upcoming Marvel Studios ‘X-Men’ reboot. The image, featuring Connor alongside personal trainer Mark Humphreyes, has drawn significant attention from fans following his official casting announcement at D23.

The new X-Men film is expected to feature a cast including Christopher Abbott as Professor Charles Xavier, Maya Boyd as Storm, Inde Navarrette as Rogue, Samara Weaving as Emma Frost, and Adam Driver as Mister Sinister. Sadie Sink is also believed to be playing Jean Grey. Director Jake Schreier has indicated that the production is drawing inspiration from various comic book runs, such as those by Chris Claremont.

Connor is scheduled to debut in the role in 2028. In addition to the Marvel project, the actor is also set to appear in an Elden Ring adaptation directed by Alex Garland.
