Kit Harington open to returning as Jon Snow and joining Harry Potter series

Actor Kit Harington has expressed a renewed openness to returning to the ‘Game of Thrones’ universe to portray Jon Snow. In a recent interview on the ‘Happy Sad Confused’ podcast, Harington noted that while a previously developed spinoff project was shelved because it was not the ‘right story,’ he now feels more comfortable with the character and the world after working on other projects.

Harington is also set to join the upcoming HBO ‘Harry Potter’ series, reprising his role as Gilderoy Lockhart in the second season. He replaces Nicholas Hoult, who departed due to scheduling conflicts. Harington shared that the ‘Harry Potter’ audiobooks played a significant role in his personal journey with sobriety, providing comfort during difficult nights.

While the Jon Snow spinoff remains officially unannounced by HBO, Harington indicated that he believes there is still a possibility for a successful project involving the character.
