Kit Harington provides update on Marvel Black Knight future

Actor Kit Harington has indicated that there are currently no plans for him to reprise his role as Dane Whitman, also known as Black Knight, within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

Harington, who appeared in the 2021 film ‘Eternals’, expressed his desire to return to the franchise during a recent interview with MovieWeb. He noted the character's potential as a parable for addiction due to the nature of the Ebony Blade, which causes the user to become increasingly corrupted the more they kill.

Despite the post-credits scene in ‘Eternals’ suggesting future appearances for the character, Marvel Studios has not announced any upcoming projects involving the Black Knight or a sequel to the film.
