Schonungen opens new playground and begins daycare garden project

The municipality of Schonungen has completed a new adventure playground at Kirchberg, which was officially opened as part of a holiday program. The facility includes slides, swings, and climbing elements, serving as a new meeting point for local families and children.

Additionally, a significant project is underway at the Schonungen daycare center to create a new hillside garden. The project involves an investment of approximately 240,000 euros, with two-thirds funded by the municipality and one-third by the supporting association. The redesign focuses on transforming the slope into a nature-oriented play and experience area featuring climbing and balancing elements. The project incorporates input from local children and involves several specialized companies for landscaping and equipment installation.
