Kita Zauberweide celebrates 30th anniversary in Bruchköbel

The Kita Zauberweide daycare center in the Kirlesiedlung district of Bruchköbel celebrated its 30th anniversary with a large festival in September. The event was attended by former and current staff, families, and Mayor Sylvia Braun.

Originally established 30 years ago as Kita West with four kindergarten and after-school groups, the facility expanded in 2012 to include two nursery groups. It currently provides care for children from age one until school entry across two nursery and four kindergarten groups.

The celebration featured a variety of activities, including a bubble show, face painting, and a raffle supported by local families and companies. The festivities were opened with a song composed by a family using AI. To mark the occasion, the team created a time capsule containing memories from 2026, which is scheduled to be opened in ten years for the center's 40th anniversary.
