Kita‑Kado Ramen and Uchidaya open new outlets in Yokohama and Oita
A new branch of the ramen chain Kita‑Kado Ramen opened on the sixth floor of the Mioka commercial complex in Yokohama’s Kōnan‑ku on June 5, 2026. The restaurant offers 36 seats, a ticket‑type ordering system and a menu that includes the chain’s signature ramen, boiled‑egg ramen, wanton ramen and other variations.
Uchidaya’s Hakata Udon outlet in Nakatsu, Oita Prefecture reopened on July 3 after a renovation that increased seating to 105 and added more counter and table spaces for solo diners while retaining family‑style seating. The shop continues to serve the brand’s trademark natural‑stock broth and a range of udon sets, including a mini‑set with gobo‑tempura and optional mini‑donburi toppings.
Both openings aim to attract commuters and local residents by providing convenient dining options within shopping or transit‑adjacent locations.
