KitchenAid named most popular appliance brand in US
KitchenAid has been named the most popular appliance brand in the United States for the second consecutive year, according to a YouGov survey. The brand achieved a 71% popularity score and a 90% fame score, placing it ahead of Whirlpool, which recorded a 67% popularity score, and Frigidaire, which followed with 61%.
While KitchenAid is a subsidiary of the Whirlpool Corporation, the brand maintains a specific market focus on premium kitchen tools, such as its signature stand mixers, refrigerators, and rangetops. Although its parent company, Whirlpool, manufactures a wide range of laundry appliances including washers and dryers, KitchenAid does not produce laundry products under its own brand name to avoid diluting its specialized kitchen appliance identity.
Founded on a legacy dating back to 1919 with the introduction of the first home stand mixer, KitchenAid continues to receive positive consumer feedback regarding the durability and performance of its products.
