Kitpeak releases Trans4motor R engine simulator for Android

Kitpeak Co., Ltd. has released the Android version of its engine and transmission simulator, ‘Trans4motor R’, on Google Play. While the series has been available for iPhone and iPad since the original 2014 launch, this marks the first time the application has been made compatible with the Android operating system.

The app allows users to simulate and visualize various four-stroke engines, ranging from single-cylinder to V12 configurations. Users can customize parameters such as cylinder count, bore and stroke, V-bank angle, and valve drive systems, including SOHC, DOHC, and VTEC. A key feature is the ‘seamless transformation’ capability, where the 3D model smoothly morphs its structure in real-time as settings are adjusted.

For the first time in the series, the application also provides real-time visualization of transmission internals, supporting both synchromesh and dog transmissions. Specialized features include ‘GearVision’ for color-coding power flow, ‘MotionStep’ for granular observation of mechanical movements, and ‘TechTour’ for interactive educational content. The Android version is priced at 1,500 yen, with a launch campaign offering a 20% discount.
