KiU launches daily-use disaster preparedness gear

Outdoor brand KiU, operated by World Party Co., Ltd., has announced a new lineup of disaster preparedness items designed for daily use. To coincide with Japan’s Disaster Prevention Day on September 1 and Disaster Prevention Month, the company is launching a campaign offering discounts on selected items through September 14.

The product range focuses on the concept of ‘disaster prevention you can carry every day,’ bridging the gap between routine lifestyle and emergency needs. New items include a 24L flame-retardant disaster backpack with reflective tape, waterproof pouches for electronics, a 600ml clear bottle for water management, and a 13L multi-purpose wash bucket bag designed for hygiene and storage.

Additionally, KiU is collaborating with Pioma+ to offer specialized emergency sets. These include a comprehensive goods set featuring an air mat, aluminum blanket, and hygiene supplies, as well as a compact set specifically designed for women’s hygiene needs during evacuations.
