Kivotos Theatre to host return of ‘The Kitchen’ production

The theatrical production ‘The Kitchen’, directed by George Koutlis, is returning to the Kivotos Theatre for a second year starting October 14. Based on the 1956 work by Arnold Wesker, the play explores the intense pressures of a working environment through a cast of 14 actors and musicians.

The production depicts a kitchen as a microcosm of society, characterized by conflict, survival, and the mechanical rhythm of labor. Michalis Sarantis stars in the central role of Andrei, a cook navigating an exhausting and high-pressure atmosphere. The performance utilizes kitchen utensils to create a musical universe, blending humor and harsh reality.
