Kiwi consumption may support better sleep quality

Research suggests that consuming kiwi before bedtime may improve sleep quality. Studies involving small groups of participants indicated that eating two kiwis an hour before sleep could lead to faster sleep onset, fewer nighttime awakenings, and longer sleep duration. This effect is attributed in part to the presence of serotonin in the fruit.

While kiwi may assist with occasional sleep difficulties, it is not a medical treatment for chronic insomnia. Experts recommend maintaining consistent sleep hygiene and consulting a specialist for persistent sleep issues.
