Kiwoom Securities and SNU Technology Holdings partner for venture capital

Kiwoom Securities and SNU Technology Holdings have signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MOU) to expand the supply of venture capital and support promising startups. The agreement, signed at Kiwoom Securities' headquarters in Yeouido, aims to create a comprehensive financial platform covering the entire corporate lifecycle.

The partnership will combine SNU Technology Holdings' expertise in discovering innovative, technology-based startups with Kiwoom Securities' capital market capabilities. Cooperation areas include early-stage investment, pre-IPO funding, and support for initial public offerings (IPO). By sharing investment networks, the two entities intend to provide customized funding solutions as companies scale from initial discovery to post-IPO stages.

SNU Technology Holdings, established by Seoul National University in 2008, focuses on nurturing early-stage innovative firms. Kiwoom Securities CEO Eom Ju-seong stated that the collaboration aims to build a customized funding system to ensure innovation and growth for high-potential companies.
