Kiwoom Securities graduates 27 financial data experts

Kiwoom Securities has successfully completed the fourth cohort of its Kiwoom Digital Academy (KDA), a training program designed to cultivate experts in financial data analysis. The graduation ceremony took place on May 21 at the company's headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul.

Over a 72-day period totaling 568 hours, 27 trainees completed a practical curriculum covering financial data analysis, Python and SQL programming, AI, and User Experience (UX). This cohort expanded its project scope to encompass general financial services, where students identified market and customer issues to design and implement new data-driven solutions.

The top project, titled ‘DAY JA VIEW’ by team ‘Pomssi’, utilized ontology to connect current market themes with historical events, allowing users to analyze past market reactions and related stock price trends. Outstanding trainees received benefits including exemptions from the document screening stage during Kiwoom Securities' recruitment process. Since its launch, the KDA program has produced a cumulative total of 113 digital finance talents, with the fifth cohort scheduled to begin training later this month.
