Kiyotaka Sugiyama launches 40th anniversary solo tour

Singer Kiyotaka Sugiyama has launched his solo debut 40th anniversary tour, which commenced on September 18 at KT Zepp Yokohama. The tour features a special band formed specifically for this occasion, ‘Takao Oshima and DEAR BREEZE’, consisting of members familiar to fans of his former group, Omega Tribe.

Following the tour's progression through venues such as Zepp Nagoya, an additional performance has been scheduled for Tokyo. This upcoming show will take place on September 30 at the Showa Women's University Hitomi Memorial Hall. Tickets for the Tokyo performance are priced at 10,000 yen with reserved seating.

The tour celebrates Sugiyama's career since his 1986 solo debut, following the dissolution of Sugiyama Kiyotaka & Omega Tribe. The setlists include early solo hits and arrangements reflecting his musical history, including tracks from his pre-Omega Tribe era.
