Kiyoteru Kuno defends title at All Japan Student Bodybuilding Championship

The 60th All Japan Student Bodybuilding Championship was held at the University of Tokyo's Yasuda Auditorium on September 27.

In the bodybuilding category, Kiyoteru Kuno of Meijo University successfully defended his title, achieving consecutive victories and winning five individual category awards. Kuno expressed his intention to continue bodybuilding professionally after graduating this spring.

In the men's physique category, Hiroshi Hirabayashi of Yokohama National University won the overall title. The women's beginners fitness division was won by Natsumi Ochiai of Nippon Sport Science University, followed by Reina Okada of Okayama University in second place.

The event also featured a guest appearance by Takumi Sasaki, a University of Tokyo alumnus and former two-time champion, who returned to the stage 20 years after his first victory.
