KJ Biermann arrested on felony sexual battery and sodomy charges
Kroy ‘KJ’ Biermann Jr., the 15-year-old son of reality TV star Kim Zolciak and former NFL player Kroy Biermann, was arrested in Alpharetta, Georgia, on August 17. He faces felony charges of aggravated sodomy and aggravated sexual battery.
The charges stem from an alleged incident on April 23 at a Life Time fitness facility. A female classmate accused Biermann Jr. of assaulting her in a co-ed sauna and changing area. According to court documents, the victim alleged that Biermann Jr. ignored her refusals and engaged in unwanted sexual contact.
Following the reported incident, the victim was examined at a hospital. Police reports indicate that medical examinations found no evidence of male DNA in the victim’s mouth or vagina.
Kim Zolciak has issued statements defending her son, calling the allegations ‘reckless and deeply troubling.’ She noted that Biermann Jr. voluntarily passed a polygraph examination and maintains his innocence. His attorney, Jason Sheffield, also stated that the teenager is ‘100 percent innocent.’
Biermann Jr. is currently being held without bond at the Metro Regional Youth Detention Center. A preliminary court hearing is scheduled for early September.
