KJ Biermann granted bond amid felony sex crime allegations
Kroy “KJ” Biermann Jr., the 15-year-old son of Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann, has been granted a $200,000 bond following a series of serious legal developments in Fulton County Superior Court. KJ faces multiple felony counts, including aggravated sexual battery, aggravated sodomy, and false imprisonment, stemming from an alleged assault of a classmate at a fitness center in April.
During the bond hearing, prosecutors introduced new allegations, claiming investigators discovered videos on KJ’s phone depicting sexual activity with a family member under the age of 12. Defense attorney Jason Sheffield disputed these characterizations, describing the prior juvenile matter as “inappropriate, crude behavior involving two middle-schoolers” rather than a statutory rape offense.
As conditions of his release, KJ must reside with Kim Zolciak, attend school online, wear an electronic monitoring device, and refrain from using social media or a cellphone. He is also prohibited from contacting anyone under the age of 16.
Amid these proceedings, Kim Zolciak has publicly defended her son, calling the allegations false. Meanwhile, Kroy Biermann’s own legal and financial issues have resurfaced, including a $64,000 gambling debt related to a 2021 trip to the Bahamas. Additionally, former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star NeNe Leakes indicated she has reached out to Zolciak to offer support during this period.
