KK Mladost Ivanovec hosts youth basketball tournament

KK Mladost Ivanovec held its second youth basketball tournament on September 26 at the Ivanovec Primary School hall. The event is part of a series of five tournaments organized to celebrate the club's 25th anniversary.

Participating teams included young female players from KK Mladost Ivanovec, KK Županja, ŽKK Falkons Zagreb, and ŽKK Studio Zagreb. Matija Posavec, the Prefect of Međimurje County, attended the opening to congratulate club president Zoran Đokić and emphasize the importance of clubs that provide competitive opportunities for youth.

According to Đokić, the tournament series aims to mark a quarter-century of operations while promoting women's basketball among girls and young people. The program focuses on connecting players from different regions through competition. Following the first tournament in June, three more are scheduled to take place before the end of the year.
