KKA waste management mobile to visit Emmerich market

The Kreis-Kleve-Abfallwirtschaftsgesellschaft (KKA) will host an information mobile at the Emmerich weekly market on April 22, 2026, from 8:00 to 13:00. The initiative aims to educate citizens on proper waste separation and the importance of recycling materials rather than disposing of them in general waste or organic bins.

During the event, citizens can drop off corks, CDs, and small electronic devices (up to 35 cm in edge length). Additionally, the KKA is collecting donations of functional laptops, e-readers, and tablets for the non-profit organization Labdoo. To be eligible for donation, devices must be no more than ten years old and pre-installed with at least Windows 8. These devices are refurbished and distributed to educational institutions.
