Küçükçekmece: One injured in armed debt dispute

A 19-year-old individual, identified as D. C., was wounded during an armed altercation in the Küçükçekmece district of Istanbul. The incident reportedly stemmed from a dispute over a debt.

The confrontation occurred around 21:00 on Aşık Veysel Avenue in the Mehmet Akif neighborhood. Following the shooting, the victim sought refuge in a nearby restaurant before being treated by medical teams and transported to a hospital.

Police officers identified the suspect as 17-year-old Y. D. The suspect was apprehended by local authorities along with the weapon used in the attack. An investigation into the circumstances of the dispute is ongoing.
