KKP Dime reports 95% surge in gold trading volume

KKP Dime has reported a significant surge in gold investment activity on its Dime! application. As of September 24, 2026, the number of gold investors on the platform reached 267,064, representing a 73.56% increase compared to the previous year. Trading volume also saw a substantial rise, growing 95.11% from 263,400 million baht to 513,920 million baht.

Reflecting a shift toward digital asset accumulation, the platform's gold assets under management (AUM) grew nearly 3.5 times to exceed 10,000 million baht. To accommodate users who wish to transition from digital holdings to physical assets, KKP Dime has partnered with MTS Mae Thongsuk and YLG Corporation. This new service allows investors to withdraw their accumulated 99.99% pure gold in the form of physical gold bars or coins.

Thanakrit Rungrojchaiporn, Chief Business Officer of KKP Dime, noted that while digital channels make gold more accessible, many Thai investors still desire physical ownership. The service aims to bridge the gap between digital accumulation and physical possession. Users can begin investing with as little as 100 baht using real-time global market prices in either Thai Baht or US Dollars.
