KLA Veterans Organization expels member over Haradinaj threat

The Lipjan branch of the KLA Veterans Organization (OVL-UÇK) has decided to expel member Skender Llugiqi from the organization. The decision, dated August 22, 2026, follows a review of Llugiqi’s actions and statements.

According to the organization, the expulsion is a response to Llugiqi’s “death threat against KLA War General, Mr. Ramush Haradinaj.” The Lipjan branch stated that such actions are severe and unacceptable, as they contradict the values and stances of the organization.

The branch has requested that the Central Headquarters of the OVL-UÇK in Prishtina review and confirm the expulsion, ensure it is documented, and take necessary organizational measures in accordance with the internal statutes and regulations. The branch emphasized that it will continue to defend the dignity of those who fought for Kosovo's freedom and will hold anyone who insults or threatens fellow fighters accountable.
