Kladno political group to challenge election results over district discrepancy

The Kladeňáci political group has announced plans to file a court complaint regarding a suspicious election result in a specific district of Kladno. According to group leader Anna Gamanová, there was an extreme discrepancy in district 29 on Školská Street, where the group received less than three percent of the vote, compared to double-digit results in all other approximately 60 districts.

While the group noted that an additional mandate might not change the overall coalition possibilities, they emphasized the importance of upholding electoral rules and the symbolic value of being the election winner. The municipal election results were extremely close: Volba pro Kladno, led by Milan Volf, won with 11 mandates (29.27%), while Kladeňáci secured 10 mandates (28.6%). Other parties including ANO and ODS received five mandates each, and Unie pro Sport a zdraví received two.
