Klagenfurt expands nextbike rental network with new station

The city of Klagenfurt has inaugurated a new nextbike station located at Rauscherpark near the City Arkaden. The expansion includes six classic bikes and smartbikes, two e-bikes, and one e-cargo bike.

Since its introduction in 2017, the nextbike rental system in Klagenfurt has grown from ten stations to 51. Local officials noted that the system recorded approximately 24,000 rentals this year. The city continues to use usage data to determine optimal locations for new stations to improve urban mobility and reduce CO2 emissions.
