Klaipėda District Municipality launches business competition

The Klaipėda District Municipality has launched a competition titled ‘Kilmės kodas. Klaipėdos rajonas’ (Origin Code. Klaipėda District) to promote local businesses, products, and services. The initiative aims to increase the visibility of goods and services produced within the district, encourage innovation, and strengthen regional identity both in Lithuania and abroad.

Eligible participants include companies registered and operating within the Klaipėda District Municipality, as well as individual entrepreneurs who reside and work within the territory. The competition features four evaluation categories: Young Business, Manufacturers, Service Providers, and the Residents' Favorite Product of Klaipėda District.

Participants whose applications are accepted and evaluated by the commission will receive the right to use the main competition logo for branding and advertising. Winners will receive additional rights to use a special winner's logo and will be presented with awards. Applications are accepted from September 10, 2026, to October 10, 2026.
