Klaipėda New Market begins pavilion facade reconstruction

The New Market in Klaipėda is undergoing a facade reconstruction to modernize its appearance and functionality. According to Viačeslav Karmanov, director of UAB Naujasis turgus, the project aims to harmonize the market with the evolving urban environment of Taikos Avenue.

The renovation includes installing modern building lighting and replacing existing gas heating with heat pumps to improve environmental sustainability. While construction is expected to last several months starting in late October, the market will remain operational during the works. Customers may experience temporary inconveniences regarding parking availability near the fruit and vegetable pavilion due to the placement of scaffolding.
