Klaipėda State Musical Theatre announces upcoming opera performances

The Klaipėda State Musical Theatre is hosting significant operatic performances. In October, the theatre will premiere Friedrich Händel’s opera ‘Julius Caesar,’ featuring soloist Lina Dambrauskaitė in the role of Cleopatra. Dambrauskaitė portrays Cleopatra not merely as a symbol of beauty, but as a highly intelligent and ambitious young ruler navigating complex political instability and personal loss.

Additionally, on November 24, the theatre will host a concert by countertenor Maayanas Lichtas. Recognized by international media as a ‘modern-day Farinelli,’ Lichtas is an award-winning performer who has appeared on major European stages. His repertoire includes Baroque and classical opera, and he is noted for his ability to reach younger audiences through social media.
