Klampfer Druck invests in Heidelberg Jetfire 50 digital printing system

Austrian printing service provider Klampfer Druck has invested in the Jetfire 50 industrial digital printing system from Heidelberg. The installation, completed in late August, aims to increase flexibility and efficiency in response to a growing market demand for shorter print runs and personalized products.

Heidelberg reports rising interest in its industrial digital printing solutions across Eastern Europe. Analysis suggests that the share of digitally printed volume in the total commercial printing volume in this region is expected to reach approximately 44% by 2030. Key markets driving this trend include Poland, Austria, and the Czech Republic.

In a broader strategic move, Heidelberg is focusing on expanding its global service business to create a more stable revenue base and reduce dependence on cyclical new machine orders. The company aims to complete significant steps in consolidating its service operations within the next 18 months.
