Klanglicht Graz 2026 festival begins at Schloss Eggenberg

The Klanglicht 2026 festival has commenced at the UNESCO World Heritage site, Schloss Eggenberg in Graz, Austria. Running from October 23 through November 7, 2026, the event organized by Bühnen Graz explores the central theme of ‘Time’ through a combination of historical architecture and modern light and sound art.

The festival utilizes the castle's unique architectural features—including its 365 windows, 52 doors, and 24 grand halls—to create an immersive experience. Featured artworks include ‘Kadenzen’ by Daniel Rossa, ‘Whispering Mountains’ by ENESS, and ‘Resonanzen der unsichtbaren Ordnung’ by Javier Riera, among others. Installations are spread across the castle facade, the courtyard, the chapel, the Planetensaal, and the castle park.

Visitors can attend the festival daily from 18:00 to 22:00. Access to the castle park and interior rooms requires a valid festival ticket and a pre-booked time slot.
