Klara Hammarström leaves reality show following controversy

Artist Klara Hammarström has left the reality program ‘Elitstyrkans hemligheter VIP’ following controversy regarding comments made during filming. While Hammarström initially stated she wished to leave to test her limits, she later clarified to media outlets that a misunderstanding involving a YouTube sketch title contributed to her decision to depart.

Following the incident, several fellow participants—including Lamix, Linda Pira, and Atilla Yolda—issued a joint statement on Instagram declaring that they ‘do not stand behind racism or racist expressions.’ Another participant, Anitha Clemence, also commented on the importance of marking boundaries when they are crossed.

TV4’s executive producer, Catrin Magnusson, stated that the production took the participants' experiences seriously and addressed the situation on-site. Hammarström maintains that her remarks were a reference to an existing title and that she apologized once she realized how the conversation was perceived.
