Klaudia Łyduch debuts for Poland in volleyball European Championship

Klaudia Łyduch has made her debut for the Polish women's national volleyball team during the European Championship in Istanbul. The 22-year-old libero joined the squad following a medical joker procedure to replace Aleksandra Szczygłowska, who was withdrawn from the tournament due to health issues.

Szczygłowska, a regular starter for the last three seasons, remained in Turkey under medical supervision. While initial reports suggested stomach problems, specific medical details have remained private. Łyduch arrived in Istanbul on short notice, initially intended to assist with training before being officially added to the roster by the European Volleyball Confederation.

Łyduch expressed immense happiness regarding her sudden call-up and the team's 3-2 victory over Turkey. Poland is scheduled to face Portugal in the round of 16.
