Klaudia Zwolińska dominates Polish Canoe Slalom Championships
Klaudia Zwolińska, the Olympic silver medalist from Paris, delivered a dominant performance at the Polish Canoe Slalom Championships held at the Kolna track in Krakow. Zwolińska secured a total of six medals, including four golds, one silver, and one bronze. Her victories included the K1 individual event, the C1 individual event, the C1 team competition, and the trial event.
In the highly competitive kayak cross discipline, Zwolińska won the trial but finished behind Patrycja Iwaniec of AZS-AKF Kraków in the direct competition. Other notable winners included Jakub Brzeziński, who triumphed in the men's kayak cross, and Tadeusz Kuchno, who took first place in the men's trial.
Athletes from Start Nowy Sącz also saw success, earning a gold medal in the women's K1 team competition, with Hanna Danek and Dominika Brzeska also reaching the podium in individual events. The championships served as a significant preparation event for the upcoming European Championships in Ivrei, Italy.
