Klay Thompson adjusts to intense Miami Heat training

Klay Thompson has completed his first training session with the Miami Heat, noting the high intensity and physical demands of the team's culture. Thompson remarked that the experience was “exhausting” but met his expectations, drawing comparisons between the current coaching style of Erik Spoelstra and the rigorous standards previously established by Pat Riley.

Thompson also reflected on his relationship with teammate Giannis Antetokounmpo, who joined the Heat following a trade from the Milwaukee Bucks. Thompson recalled a significant moment of sportsmanship from Antetokounmpo in 2022, when the latter approached him after a game to offer praise following Thompson's return from injury. Thompson expressed that being teammates with Antetokounmpo is a positive development for the team's morale.
