Klein Iterson medical center in Gouda suffers data breach

Klein Iterson, a general practitioner center in Gouda, has reported a digital breach involving its computer systems. Unauthorized individuals gained access to parts of the center's systems, resulting in the viewing or theft of personal data and portions of medical files.

The medical center has notified the police and the Dutch Data Protection Authority. Patients are advised to remain vigilant against phishing, fraud, and identity theft, as stolen personal information and citizen service numbers (BSN) could be misused to access services in their name.
