Kleinwalsertal begins construction on new medical center

Construction has begun on a new medical center in Kleinwalsertal, Austria, aimed at securing long-term healthcare provision in the region. Managed by aks gesundheit GmbH, the project involves excavation and canal work, with a formal foundation stone ceremony planned for October.

The facility is designed to address previous gaps in local medical coverage. It will house general practitioners, including three advertised positions for statutory health insurance, as well as physiotherapy, osteopathy, and strength training services. The center also intends to integrate social and health institutions, such as mobile aid services and nursing associations, under one roof. Operations are expected to commence within one year.
