Klemen Čebulj returns to Slovenian national volleyball team

Klemen Čebulj has returned to the Slovenian national volleyball team following an injury to captain Urnaut. The 34-year-old veteran, who has earned 213 caps, immediately accepted the call-up, leaving his club training with Asseco Resovia in Poland to join the squad.

Čebulj has been a central figure in Slovenia’s recent volleyball successes, including silver medals at the European Championships in 2015, 2019, and 2021, as well as a bronze medal in 2023. His return comes as Slovenia has secured advancement to the round of 16 at the European Championship after victories against Slovakia, Sweden, and the Czech Republic.
