Lublin's Carnaval Sztukmistrzów draws crowds with circus acts and slackliners

The Carnaval Sztukmistrzów festival took place in Lublin from 23 to 26 July 2026, offering a programme of circus performances, concerts, DJ sets and a family‑friendly atmosphere. Artists from around the world presented acrobatic shows, street performances and a "Miasteczko Cyrkowe" where visitors could try juggling, tight‑rope walking and other circus skills.

The event also featured the Urban Highline Festival, with slackliners and high‑altitude acrobats performing on ropes strung between landmarks such as the Trynitarska Tower, the Crown Tribunal and Brama Krakowska. Coordinator Marcelina Gzyl said the spectacle transforms the city, letting people "forget they are in their own town" and encouraging new social interactions. The final day on 26 July included additional shows on the Old Town square and a closing concert at the euforia Browaru Perła club.

The festival program and additional information are available on the official website carnavallublin.eu.
