Kleszczów hires officials, teachers with salaries up to 11k PLN
Poland’s wealthiest municipality, Kleszczów, announced recruitment for several public‑sector positions. The offers include a sub‑inspector role for crisis management and resident‑registry duties, with base pay ranging from 5,030 to 10,790 zł gross per month, plus seniority bonuses, thirteenth‑month pay, and other allowances. A separate posting seeks a preschool teacher on a substitute contract, offering a starting salary of 5,838.80 zł gross for 160 hours of work per month.
Kleszczów’s high fiscal capacity stems from taxes paid by the nearby Bełchatów lignite mine, owned by the Polish Group of Energy. Economists have dubbed the municipality a “Polish emirate” because its per‑capita tax revenue exceeds 23,000 zł, roughly four times that of Warsaw. The recruitment drive reflects the gmina’s effort to attract qualified staff by leveraging its generous compensation packages.
