Klingenthal to host Summer Grand Prix ski jumping finals

The Summer Grand Prix in ski jumping will conclude in Klingenthal, Germany, featuring a new experimental rule set from the International Ski Federation (FIS). Under the new format, qualification results will directly determine the starting order for the first series, meaning the winner of the qualification will jump last, while the athlete with the lowest rank will jump first. This shifts the starting number privilege from overall seasonal standings to immediate qualification performance.

In the men's competition, Japan's Naoki Nakamura has already secured the overall title. In the women's division, Slovenia's Ema Klinec leads the standings, holding a 67-point advantage over Yuki Ito. Poland has announced its roster for the event, including Dawid Kubacki, Kacper Tomasiak, Paweł Wąsek, Jakub Wolny, Klemens Joniak, and Maciej Kot for the men, while Anna Twardosz and Natalia Słowik will represent the Polish women.
