Klis, Croatia hosts annual Klape na Klisu choir festival

The traditional Klape na Klisu choir festival took place in the historic town of Klis, Croatia. Due to weather the event was moved to the Dom kulture venue, where it filled every seat. The festival featured a mixture of youth groups from the Josipa Hatze Music School and veteran ensembles such as the Filip Dević and Omiš choirs, performing a repertoire of traditional Dalmatian songs.

The event was organized by the Croatian Society Trpimir Klisi, with the municipality of Klis as the main patron and Stella Mediteranea d.o.o. as the general sponsor. Volunteers, artistic directors and technical staff coordinated the program, which was presented by Trpimir Glavina. The festival highlighted the preservation of klapa singing across generations and received high praise from attendees.
