Posušje's Klapska Festival showcases top regional choirs
The 12th edition of the Klapska Festival took place in Posušje on 1–2 August 2026 at the Trg hrvatskih branitelja. The event gathered 17 male and female a cappella groups (klape) from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia, with revival performances by Đani Stipaniče and Dario Domijan. Acting director of the Posušje Tourist Board Josipa Nenadić said, “It is a great recognition and a responsibility to offer a quality programme each year and preserve the reputation the Festival has built over twelve years.”
Organisers highlighted the festival’s role in promoting cultural tourism, noting that it attracts performers and visitors from across the region and helps position Posušje as a cultural‑tourism destination.
The programme included eight male choirs – Delta, Stobreč, Bistrica, Zvizdan, Podvorje, Grga, Krunik and Priženca – and nine female choirs – Tamarin, Liron, Oršulice, Frecija, Puntape, Rozeta, Zvizdan, Gratia and Merla, many of which have previously earned awards at the festival.
