KLM adds four new Airbus A350-900 destinations

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines will operate its new Airbus A350‑900 on four additional routes later this year. From 30 November the A350 will serve Montreal three times weekly, replacing the A330‑200/300, but will be withdrawn temporarily between 4 January and 28 February 2027 before returning. On 1 December the aircraft will debut on the Amsterdam‑Kilimanjaro‑Dar es Salaam rotation, with a further weekly flight to Zanzibar (combined with Dar es Salaam) starting 6 December. Nairobi joins the schedule on 5 January 2027, initially twice weekly and rising to three. Earlier, the A350 began service to Toronto on 29 September, increasing to five weekly flights by 29 September and to six by 1 January 2027. The airline continues to use Boeing 787‑10 Dreamliners on the remaining frequencies. Business‑Class seats on the A350 are not yet available pending certification of the new cabin configuration.
