KLM adds free change on intercontinental tickets and summer fare promos
KLM announced a temporary policy allowing passengers to modify one intercontinental ticket booked from Amsterdam‑Schiphol airport at no cost. The measure applies to all such flights and is intended to give travelers confidence amid recent global uncertainties.
From 9 to 18 June the airline will also run promotional fares on more than 50 European and intercontinental routes. Vice‑president Frédérique Pelger said the initiative, part of the "Temporary deals, lasting memories" campaign within KLM’s "Travel Well" strategy, aims to make booking “as accessible as possible”. KLM will promote the offers using Sponsored Snaps, a new advertising format on Snapchat, becoming one of the first Dutch companies to adopt the tool.
